50 Years of American Aircraft Sales

EVOLUTION OF AN AMERICAN BRAND

American Aircraft Sales has always been a family owned and operated business. It was founded by Charlie Tolbert, a former US Army Air Corps WWII hero, and is currently operated by his son, Jet Tolbert. Charlie’s widow, Doie Tolbert, serves as the company’s Vice President.

The company is one of only 2 or 3 businesses that have been continuously operating in the industry under the same name for such a long time. Of those, it is perhaps the most well-regarded, due to the legacy of its legendary founder (see history below).

In 2016, after flying for years with the original company logo, American Aircraft Sales updated their company brand to better depict the sleekness of modern jet aviation, and the sheer altitude of its clientele.
